The following is a scenario that stays true to what God’s Word says will happen next – to the best of my limited knowledge. These will be “Breaking News” events to the world in the coming weeks, months and years, but not to those who know their Bible.

1. Iran will launch a full scale invasion of the Middle East. Specifically, into the nations of Iraq/Syria, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. They will NOT attack Israel, they won’t even attempt it. They will completely succeed and nobody will be willing or able to stop them for a time. The pretext may be helping the Kurds in Turkey, destroying ISIS, or annexing the Saudi oil fields – possibly all 3. They may be led by a man who is hailed as the 12th Imam/Shia Mahdi. They will claim the Caliphate (or “Imamate”). The world will be plunged into deep panic – peace of mind will be taken from us and Islamic terrorism will spread like wildfire. Dan. 7:5, Dan. 8:2-4,20, Dan. 11:2, Zech. 6:2, Rev. 6:4 *depending on how literally we take Daniel 8:20, the larger horn may be a Kurd (Mede) *depending on how literally we take Daniel 11:2, this new windfall of Billions of dollars to Iran may be highly significant

2. Turkey will lead a coalition of Sunni nations (Egypt, Jordan, Arabia, perhaps Pakistan) to fight back against Iran. Turkish dictator Erdogan will be the very visible head of this counter-attack. Iran will be completely defeated, the Mullahs overthrown, the IRGC dismantled. Israel will be THANKFUL that the Iranians have been stopped. Turkey will then assume control of nearly all Mideast oil and land and the world will experience severe economic trouble. Dan. 7:6, Dan. 8:5-7,21, Dan. 11:3, Zech. 6:2,6, Rev. 6:5-6

3. Erdogan will want to rule it all and may even declare himself Caliph over the “proper” Ottoman Caliphate but be deposed or killed quickly. Turkey will oversee the re-drawing of the map of the Mideast into 4 new nations. Something like: “New Turkey” to the north, “New Iran” to the east, “New Arabia” to the west and “new Egypt” to the south. There will be dissension and several military confrontations between this new Turkey and new Egypt allied with new Arabia. Eventually a formally unknown leader will emerge from this northern division and subdue and unite them all. As a united Caliphate, 10 leaders of Islamic nations will act as 1 and make peace with Israel with a 7 year agreement and the issue of Jerusalem will be “settled”. The Jews will finally build their new Temple alongside/around the Dome of the Rock. The world will formally recognize this resurrected Islamic Empire and its peacemaking leader. Muslims around the world will begin calling him the rightful Caliph – some even the Mahdi. Isa. 28:15, Dan. 7:7-8, Dan. 8:8-9,22, Dan. 9:27, Dan. 11:4-23, Zech. 6:3,6-8, Rev. 6:8, Rev. 13:1-4, Rev. 17

4. During the first 3.5 years of the agreement, the Caliph will curry favor by dividing up oil riches among the Empire, but Egypt will resist him and want to leave the confederacy. There will be a fierce war between these “kingdoms” of north and south – this is the “Kingdom against Kingdom” Jesus Christ warned of as a sign of His coming (Isaiah 19) – but the end IS NOT YET. This ¼ of the earth will be cursed with war, disease and starvation. Egypt will be conquered and then the Caliph will turn to Jerusalem as the new seat of his power. 3.5 years after the agreement was made, he will break the deal and invade Israel. The Great Tribulation – the last 3.5 years before the return of Jesus when 2/3 of the Jews and millions of Christians are killed – will then commence. Isa. 19:1-4, Dan. 8:10-12,23-25, Dan. 11:24-31, Ezek. 38,39, Rev. 13:5-10

Also there are 2 events that will occur somewhere in that timeline but frankly I’m not sure where exactly:

1. The complete destruction of Damascus. (Isa. 17, Jer. 49:24-27, Amos 1:3-5) I tend to believe this is very close and could come anytime, but it is possible it could wait until the very end as part of the Wrath of God poured out as Jesus returns.

2. Arabia/Mecca being destroyed – at least partially by Iran. (Isa. 21:1-10, Isa. 34:5-15, Jer. 49:7-21, Ezek. 25:12-14, Rev. 17,18) This could be a part of the Iranian invasion, which would make it soon. Or part of the 10 Kings burning her with fire which would place it in the Beast confederacy near the end. It is possible that is attacked by Iran then by Israel then by Jesus Himself as He returns.

One thing we can be sure of is that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith, and the testimony of Him is what all prophecy points to. He has told us beforehand, praise God!

Jeremiah 28 – The false teaching of Hananiah

If you are a Christian who has spent any time researching the end times, then you are aware of the different ideas of what the last days will look like. There are many points of view about when the rapture will happen or if it will even happen at all. Some even teach that it has already happened. UGH!

But this isn’t anything new. False teaching has been around since teaching itself began. Even in Genesis 3, we see early on that Satan was teaching a false message which led to the sin of Adam and Eve and the ultimate fall of mankind.

Today, we have what seems to be a majority of pastors/teachers who are sharing a false narrative about the end times. I believe they do so without prejudice, not trying to deceive, but also out of a desire to be in with the right crowd, not trusting what the Bible plainly says but rather what they have been taught. It is wrong, regardless of their motives and the church needs to beware.

Before we expound upon that, let’s look back at a perfect example of which I am writing. Jeremiah 28 – the confrontation between Jeremiah and Hananiah.

Background: Judah had been under duress and control by Babylon since 605 B.C. Zedekiah was made King of Judah by Nebuchadnezzar in 597 B.C., which is the year we find this story taking place. In Jeremiah 37, the Lord spoke to Jeremiah and told him to tell the kings of Moab, Edom, Ammon, etc. that the entire land had been given over to Nebuchadnezzar by God and that they should not rebel. They would be under his rule, his son’s rule and his grandson’s rule; in other words – a LONG time. They would have to endure and suffer the rule of another. Rebelling would be at their peril and the loss of many lives.

Jeremiah also shared that message with Zedekiah in Jeremiah 37:12, warning against the false prophets who were encouraging the king that Judah should not serve and yield to Babylon. Jeremiah declared that their message was false and that they were not of God.

He then shared the same message with the people of Judah, warning them against the false message from the priests and prophets. Their message was one of HOPE, declaring that the people would not suffer long, that everything would be restored to its proper place by God and the people wouldn’t suffer long, despite the fact that God had said they would suffer enslavement a long time. Jeremiah declared the prophets to NOT be from God.

Then in Jeremiah 38, we meet Hananiah. His message was again a message of HOPE. He declared that the people would only have a short time to endure, only two years, and that God would restore the proper king and everything taken from Jerusalem and the temple.

Jeremiah rebuked him. Hananiah goes even further and destroyed the yoke that Jeremiah had been wearing which God told him to wear when he shared his message.

Because of Hananiah’s act, God tells Jeremiah to tell him that the burden of Nebuchadnezzar would be even worse for the people of Judah. Further, Jeremiah declares to Hananiah that he was lying to the people and because he was lying and leading the people in a lie, he would die by the hand of God. He died that same year.

So, what has this to do with the prophecies of today?

Since the 1830’s, a false message of hope has been taught. A message that the Bible does not declare. Teachers, pastors, and preachers of renown have proclaimed a false, secret fulfillment of the blessed hope mentioned in Titus 2.

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.  It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. Titus 2:11- 14

These people teach that the church has nothing to worry about, that they will be secretly raptured away, never having to face the persecution of the Antichrist. They teach that the church will enjoy a party, a banquet in heaven while the earth suffers the wrath of God for seven years. There is absolutely no verse in the Bible that teaches this idea. They are Hananiah, offering a message of hope that does not come from God or His word.

The church is listening and they will not be ready. In fact many will fall away from the faith as Jesus mentions in Matthew 24:9-13 and Paul writes of in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-5.

Truly, we do wait for the blessed appearing of our Lord. But those who rightly divide the Word know that there is much trouble to endure first. The warnings run throughout the Bible.

This horn (Little horn) made war with the saints and prevailed over them. Daniel 7:21

He shall speak words against the Most High and shall wear out the saints of the Most High…and they shall be given into his hands for a time, times and half a time. Daniel 7:25

His (Antichrist) power shall be great – but not by his own power, and he shall cause fearful destruction and shall succeed in what he does and destroy mighty men and THE PEOPLE WHO ARE THE SAINTS. Daniel 8:24

…that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end… Daniel 12:7

“The one who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:13

“But the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Mark 13:13

“By your endurance you will gain your lives.” Luke 21:19

Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints. Revelation 13:10

Here is a call for the endurance of the saints those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. Revelation 14:12

Jesus Himself warned us:

You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit. Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. Mark 13:9-13

“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.  For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.  And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household.  Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.  And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.  Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it” Matthew 10:34-39

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.  For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.  For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?  For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done.” Matthew 16:25

And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.  For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what can a man give in return for his soul?  For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:34-38

But there are those who have the voice of Jeremiah, who believe the Word of God for what it says, not what they want it to say. I am in debt to these men of God and my burden is similar – to share the truth in spite of what the false teachers say.

Please, don’t be misled. Study God’s Word and listen to the Holy Spirit. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.”

Jesus IS coming! And I can’t wait to see Him! We WILL meet Him in the air, but the cleansing of the bride must happen first, along with the cleansing of Israel.

When the Bridegroom comes, the parable in Matthew 25 tells us, half of the virgins, those waiting for him, will not be ready. Does that mean half of the church will not be ready to endure and will lose their invitation to wed? I believe it does.

Trouble is coming! We are not escaping it!

I hope you will hear the message and prepare for what lies ahead.
